A Workshop for Women Dealing with Overwhelm

Welcome to 3 hours of learning, personal development, and self-care!

Many women go through their days with constant stress and overwhelm building up in their bodies, and too often accept this as a part of modern-day life. This workshop aims to inform you about stress in the female body and give you some much-needed tools and support so that you can support your mind, body, and soul.

The workshop will include:

  • A 30-min slow yoga session
  • A nutritious light vegetarian dinner
  • Teaching about the stress response & the impact on the female body
  • Journaling work & reflection
  • Tools for reducing stress
  • A guided meditation

What to Bring: a journal, a pen, a yoga mat and a water bottle. Optional but for extra comfort: a blanket and a pillow

What to Wear: comfortable clothing suitable for slow yoga. We will be seated on our yoga mats for the duration of the session.

About Your Teacher:
Liselle Anderson is a holistic health coach, yoga teacher, event organiser and mother. Oslo is her birthplace and home-base, but she grew up in the North-East of Scotland.

Her wellness journey started with her own yoga practice back in 2010, and has progressed over the years to include holistic nutrition and natural living. Her love for nutrition guided her towards completing her studies to become a Holistic Health Coach and she now supports women who want to live healthy and fulfilling lives without feeling constant stress in their bodies.

She has a passion for whole, nutritious food prepared simply and will gladly spend hours in the kitchen as her form of meditation.

  • Only participants who have purchased a ticket beforehand are able to attend, in order to help us ensure having a safe number of people in our space at any time.
  • Please wash your hands or use antibacterial solution for at least 20 secs when you arrive at HerSpace.
  • Please keep a minimum of 1-meter distance to all persons and wear a mask when that is not possible.
  • Shared equipment, including yoga mats, paint brushes, toys, will be disinfected directly after use. However, we encourage you to bring your own materials if possible.
  • Please be safe and stay at home if you feel unwell. Send us an email and your ticket can be applied to another upcoming event.

Chisom Udeze

Founder of Diversify, Diversify Consult, HerSpace & The Annual

Chisom is an Economist, a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Strategist, and a 3 times founder of impact driven companies. She has over 14 years of experience working with organizations like the European Commission, The United Nations, ExxonMobil and The Economist Group. Chisom is analytical and a data enthusiast. She is passionate about interrogating the cross-sectoral relationship between society’s inhabitants, resources, production, technology, distribution and output. She efficiently and effectively unlocks complex systems, interprets data, forecasts socio-economic trends and conducts research.

Having lived and worked in 7 countries across 3 continents, she is highly adaptable to different circumstances and people, and thrives in uncertain environments.

As the founder of Diversify and Diversify Consult, Chisom and her team work with companies, institutions, governments and civil society to develop sustainable DEIB strategies and embed measurable diversity and inclusion initiatives in the workplace and society. In addition, in 2022, Diversify launched the Diversify Nordics Summit, the largest conference in the Nordics that gathers cross-sectoral stakeholders to amplify DEIB in the Nordics and beyond.

In 2020, she founded HerSpace, a diverse and inclusive co-creation community for all genders, with particular focus on women and non-binary people. In 2022, HerSpace launched HerTech, Women in Tech incubator, for women-led companies, with a focus on the inclusion of diverse founders. 

Chisom is a thought-leader in DEIB and a passionate advocate for mental health and wellness. She writes often on DEIB and justice related topics, some of her work is published on Forbes.
