According to research conducted by Linkedin’s Glint Platform, in 2020 the risk of burnout related to workplace practices increased by 33%. Experiences of fatigue and overwhelm arose frequently as contributing to burnout.
This second session co-facilitated by Hyacinth Walters Olsen and Jo Perruzza, will explore managing stress and preventing burnout. There are beneficial aspects of “good stress”, which can assist in motivation and ensuring improvement, but this needs to be carefully managed. Together we will explore why we need some good stress, what happens when we have too much stress and what boundaries we can put into practice to prevent burnout, both personally, if you’re in a leadership position, and within a team environment.
