Are you an immigrant, International, or repat in Norway with an interest in starting your own business? Join us in Asker & Bærum from 12 – 16 October to acquire the knowledge, resources, and tools to start your own business or organization.
Immigrants and Internationals need professional and employment opportunities to become proactive solution finders to business and societal challenges. The Springboard workshops address the challenges faced when trying to secure employment in Norway, by providing participants with a series of practical “how-to” to starting and growing their own businesses.
The Springboard workshops aim to synergize the tools, resources, network, and mindset shift needed for sustainable professional development. In addition, it will amplify the business creation knowledge that participants can utilize in their professional lives to secure employment either via traditional means or by starting a business.
These workshops take place over the course of 5 days, where a diverse pool of facilitators provide guidance over a variety of topics, including making a business plan, business strategy & growth, design thinking, digitalization, accounting and legal, etc.
You will hear from facilitators including but not limited to Nikol Mard, Chisom Udeze, Ateh Atabong, Hyacinth Walter-Olsen, and Vanessa Kamara.
***Workshops are scheduled Monday – Friday from 10:00 – 15:00, with a half-hour lunch breaks each day and 10 minutes breaks after each hour.***
