Women in Leadership: Claudia Antwi-Adjei Hedegaard

At HerSpace, we are proud to be part of a collective and necessary effort to be active participants in helping women advance in their social, personal and professional lives. As such, we have designed this series as one of the ways to support their growth.

This is a recurring event. Every two weeks, you will hear from a female leader who will share her story, experience, knowledge, insights and/or advice.


Our first Female Leader is:  Claudia Antwi-Adjei Hedegaard

Claudia Antwi-Adjei Hedegaard is Ghanaian-Norwegian and currently works as a Strategic Business Management Advisor at Norway’s largest media organisation – The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). Prior to this, she held the position of Head of Organisational Development in Aker Energy where she was responsible for defining and operationalising a corporate organisational development strategy, to support Aker Energy’s mission to build an oil and gas company in Ghana. Prior to Aker Energy, she worked for several years in Equinor, and held various leadership positions within strategy, corporate transformation, innovation, change and organisational projects. She has also previously held the position of Employer Brand Manager at the Norwegian Ministry of Finance.

Claudia holds an Executive Master in Innovation, Business models and Digitalisation from the Norwegian Business school. A Master’s degree in International Business Management from Kingston Business School in London, and a Bachelor degree  in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Oslo. She is also a participant of NHO’s renowned Female Future leadership development programme.

We are extremely excited to hear from Claudia and soak in her knowledge, advice and insights from years of experience in leadership roles.

Chisom Udeze

Founder of Diversify, Diversify Consult, HerSpace & The Annual

Chisom is an Economist, a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Strategist, and a 3 times founder of impact driven companies. She has over 14 years of experience working with organizations like the European Commission, The United Nations, ExxonMobil and The Economist Group. Chisom is analytical and a data enthusiast. She is passionate about interrogating the cross-sectoral relationship between society’s inhabitants, resources, production, technology, distribution and output. She efficiently and effectively unlocks complex systems, interprets data, forecasts socio-economic trends and conducts research.

Having lived and worked in 7 countries across 3 continents, she is highly adaptable to different circumstances and people, and thrives in uncertain environments.

As the founder of Diversify and Diversify Consult, Chisom and her team work with companies, institutions, governments and civil society to develop sustainable DEIB strategies and embed measurable diversity and inclusion initiatives in the workplace and society. In addition, in 2022, Diversify launched the Diversify Nordics Summit, the largest conference in the Nordics that gathers cross-sectoral stakeholders to amplify DEIB in the Nordics and beyond.

In 2020, she founded HerSpace, a diverse and inclusive co-creation community for all genders, with particular focus on women and non-binary people. In 2022, HerSpace launched HerTech, Women in Tech incubator, for women-led companies, with a focus on the inclusion of diverse founders. 

Chisom is a thought-leader in DEIB and a passionate advocate for mental health and wellness. She writes often on DEIB and justice related topics, some of her work is published on Forbes.
