DESCRIPTION:Are you an entrepreneur of immigrant or minority background? \n  \nWould you like to take part in a conversation to outline\, challenge and find solutions to barriers that stand in the way of establishing and growing your business? \n\nWe would like to welcome you to join us. \nThis event aims to gather people and share experiences with regards to starting your own business in Norway as an immigrant or person or minority background.  \nWe are interested in exploring topics such as access to resources and mentorship\, securing finances and funding\, business development opportunities\, and other structural barriers that diverse entrepreneurs face\, such as endorsement within\, and support by the Norwegian society. \n \n\nThe program for the evening is as follows: \n\n\n\n17:30-18:00- Panel discussion with guest speakers- to be announced soon!\n18:00-18:45- Group experience sharing and conversation. \n18:45-19:00- Networking and mingling.\n\nThis event is developed in collaboration with Chr. Michelsens Institute (CMI) Bergen who are conducting a research project on Muslim immigrant entrepreneurs in Norway and financing gaps: https://www.cmi.no/projects/2579-the-invisible-ceiling.  \n\nAttendance at this event is free of charge.  \nThe event will be delivered in hybrid- online via zoom and in-person at HerSpace. \nTea\, coffee and snacks will be provided.
